The Timmins Senior Centre is run through an elected board of directors consisting of approximately 15 members, with one full time coordinator. They work diligently to ensure a safe, friendly and fun environment.

Policies:

The association shall be non-racial, non-sectarian and non-political.
The association shall operate democratically and in accordance with its laws and constitution.
All committee activities shall be accountable to the board.

This Organization is formally known as:

~Timmins Senior Citizens Recreation Centre.

~Centre Récréatif des Personnes Agées de Timmins.

Purpose:

To unite all the Senior Citizens of the area.
To provide an opportunity to meet and participate in various activities.
To provide fellowship.
To provide pertinent information to the members.
To prevent loneliness, isolation and contribute to the well-being of all seniors.
